We are a small family run mail-order nursery located in the heart of the Willamette Valley. (Canby, Oregon) In 1998 we moved over to America from Switzerland, with a suitcase of perennials, and started our business. We maintain good connections with our nursery friends in Switzerland and Germany, and periodically import plants from Europe. It is our goal to raise a unique selection of old and new varieties of specialty perennials that are sturdy, vigorous and ready to plant.

Urs has been working in the nursery business since he was 15 years old, when he started his apprenticeship in Switzerland. His first job was at Frei Nursery in Wildensbuch, home of the Max Frei Gerenium. He spent most of his years managing the perennial department for Freidrich Nursery in Unterstammheim, Switzerland, where he was responsible for three and a half thousand varieties of perennials and gained a wealth of knowledge and practical experience.
