Collection of 6 different rock garden plants, ($46.25 value) easy to grow selections of plants you can find in the Swiss Alps. On post cards of the Alps, if there are 3 flowers on it, it’s Edelweiss, Gentian and Alpenrose. Whereas the first two are easy to grow, Alpenrose, which are a type of Rhdodendron, aren’t. Polygalas, however, are very easy to grow. They can be found growing along with trumpet gentians and make a great substitute for Alpenrose. The collection consist of one of each: Leontopodium alpinum (Edelweiss), Leontopodium a. 'Matterhorn', Gentiana a. 'Holzmann', Gentiana a. 'Undulatifolia', Polygala chamaebuxus and Polygala chamaebuxus var. grandiflora. All are suitable for sun to light shade in average to well drained soil. (August thru April 15, we can ship this collection in a flat rate box for $13.50. The shopping cart is not able to generate this, but we will adjust the shipping cost manually)
