Welcome to Edelweiss Perennials

We are a very small Nursery specializing in choice perennials of which many aren’t commonly known, the good old and sometimes almost lost, as well as the new, as long as they are good garden plants and not over commercialized. 100% of all plants we ship are grown here and 99% of which we propagated ourselves. Out of the many specialties, we are actively hybridizing and selecting Alstroemeria, Dierama and Schizostylis. Gentians, another specialty of ours and a personal favorite, have always been in short supply, but we have been working hard for 10 years now to finally have a sufficient crop available. If you have never tried any or have had little success, we encourage you to try some of our vigorous plants.

Please read purchasing information before ordering but here the basics to get you started:

West of the Rockies and the South East: We ship year round, weather permitting. East of the Rockies: April 1st until November 30, weather permitting.

During the main shipping season February thru May, orders ship usually within 7 to 14 days. The rest of the year, we are able to the ship the following week if we receive the order by Thursday night in most cases.

When checking out an order, click the "send order now" button and make sure to click the "confirm order" button on the next screen. Then an order confirmation page with an order number will come up and an email will be sent to you.
