| CLIMBING MONKSHOOD |

A very variable, climbing species, often in trade as A. volubile. This particular clone we grow has exceptionally glossy, dark green leaves with five lobes. Grows best in a well drained, fertile soil next to shrub, were it can mingle and grow to its full potential. 4" pots.

| JACK-IN-THE-PULPIT |
|
"What does he mean; the 8" or the 30"?" you'll say. I'm sorry but that pesky little plant keeps on getting bigger by the year. According to literature only growing 8-18", it did start blooming at 8" tall, rather "cute" looking. 4 years later it was 30" tall and the otherwise small flowers were quite substantial. Did I mention the leaves? Gorgeous clean-lush-green, composed of 5-11 leaflets, becoming bigger by the year as well. Easy in a well drained soil, tolerates more sun than others. 4" pots.

| JACK-IN-THE-PULPIT |
|
This is on of the most stunning species. Soon after the plant emerges in spring, a huge maroon pitcher shaped flowers unfolds and reveals a bright white, club-like spadix. To add drama, the hood is striped. To top it off, this is one of the easiest and hardiest species. Prefers a moist but well drained soil. We currently sell 2 year old plants; they’ll most likely bloom next year.

| BUTTERFLY BUSH |
|
This Japanese species has very unusual flowers; light lavender on the outside and purple on the inside, on gracefully arching branches. Leaves are glossy green and rather broad, compared to the regular butterfly bush. We haven't found any seedlings so far.

| UPRIGHT CLEMATIS |
|
The new grow emerges purple, greening up as the season progresses. To keep the purple color and to avoid having to stake the plant, simply trim the whole plant down. Easy to grow in most soils and drought tolerant.

Offsets from a compact 'Midnight Masquerade' seedling. We are working on dwarf dark purple Clematis recta. This one is definitely smaller but needs more evaluating before being named officially. 4" pots.
