Selection of a South African species with silvery-green, fuzzy-textured shamrock leaves. They appear in fall after summer dormancy, possibly starting in September or later, depending on condition and location (US state), deep lemon flowers open. 'Ken Aslet' spreads slowly and can be grown in rockeries, in front of a border and in pots. As for most rock garden plants, well drained soil is essential, especially for zone 7.
