A long-lived, true perennial, discovered by Julia Mlokosjewicz in 1900, whose daddy was no one less than the gentleman that discovered Paeonia mlokosewitschii. A semi-evergreen plant that grows slowly into cushions with short stolons, which is unique to Primula. Easily grown in most soils; needs more moisture in full sun and warmer climates.
