Hailing from Western China, this unusual primrose grows rosettes of long narrow leaves. Mauve to pale violet flowers are produced in spring, often with a black center and a white ring around it, which is more or less pronounced. Needs a soil that doesn't dry out in shade or a spot with morning sun.
