A very unusual and highly ornamental anemone from Japan. The three-lobed leaves are heavily mottled with silver, emerging bronze-tinted in late fall. Bears white, many-petaled flowers. Spreads by short rizomes, growing into small patches over time. Summer dormant from June and awards. Grows best in a well drained, humusy soil.
