The legendary Orchid Primrose, hailing from Yunnan, China, where it always has been rare and now is extinct, apparently. Despite the striking and delicate appearance, it is relatively easy to grow in a rich, humusy, moist to wet (yet draining) soil. Takes full sun given enough moisture and if it’s in an extremely hot and arid area.
